9.28.26 FISHING REPORT

September flew by! And, with only 1 day of actual rain, plus 100+ degree heat, maybe that's a good thing. In addition, my motor dumped on me. Well, to be clear, a spark plug died. This had me running on 3 cylinders with unlit fuel doing damage. Luckily, the shop got me back on the water just in time for the "cool" front at the end of the month.

I caught some decent bass with the SPRO KGB shad. But the best fish boated this month set a new house record. My son, Matt, pulled in this awesome 8lb9oz girl on the Wobble-head jig. (See pic)

Even though we still have a strong thermocline in effect, the water temp has dropped 10deg in just one week. Come'on Fall!

September is supposed to be "the worst month" for bass fishing. Maybe because of the erratic weather patterns? We definitely had that...
