9.27.23 FISHING REPORT

What can you say about September but, what a tough month it was for fishing? The first half of the month was just as dry, and just as hot, as August. We finally got a few rain events that brought some relief and kept the water level from falling even more.

It wasn't ALL bad. We had a few sessions that produced some decent fish. We even had a new client that brought his 13 & 14 year old sons and we ended up with a pretty good 1/2day trip. Late in the session, the oldest brother hadn't caught a single fish and I told him that my experience said that the guy who's catching the least, usually ends up catching the biggest. Like a script from a movie... BAM! The biggest bass of the day. Nicely done, sir!

Looks like I missed August's report! 💩 Sorry. And I won't lie. September had my boat parked for the last 3 weeks. Yeah, I had some...

September is supposed to be "the worst month" for bass fishing. Maybe because of the erratic weather patterns? We definitely had that...
