More rain than typical, this July. However, that might have helped a bit. The cloud cover is always good. But in 95-99 degree summer, that cloud cover made it mostly bearable.
Most fish were caught suspended over 20-25ft of water. Under-spins and jerkbait-plus 1 got bit. But, late in July, we started throwing the Mag Fluke in the 6-8ft areas with grass. This got a larger bite. Lastly, the Wobble-head is just a great way to catch'em when on roadbeds and less-stumpy areas.
August and September look to be more of the same... minus the rain!
