3.27.23 FISHING REPORT

With the spawn starting in mid-Feburary, we've had some decent days throughout March. One trip boated 29 bass, and another took 17, with many more bites missed. No question about it, the watermelon red Fluke was the star of the show, followed by the Chatter-bait. The actual bed fishing has been, typically, hard on Naconiche. The steep banks, floating timber on everywhere, and the thick grass always makes it tough to find site fish. With that said, we did manage to get a quite a few to pluck a creature bait or lizard off the beds we could find. Yep, you guessed it... red flake was supreme.

Here's our new friend with a solid 4.01 caught on the Fluke. "That's NOT a fish!" 😁

3.28.2026 FISHING REPORT

So, here we are at the end of March. I wish I could tell you that we slayed the big pre-spawn females ahead of time, but we just didn't. Biggest was a 7.25lb, with a few 5's & 6's in the mix. This
